The general composition of the central air conditioning system:

(1) Wind harvesting section. The air conditioning system must use a portion of fresh outdoor air, namely fresh air. The intake of fresh air is mainly determined by the service purpose and hygiene requirements of the air conditioning system. The fresh air intake and the fresh air ducts of the air conditioning system, as well as the fresh air dust filter device, constitute the intake part of the system.

(2) The filtration part of the air. The fresh air of the air conditioning system entering the air treatment device generally needs to go through a pre air filter to remove large dust particles in the air. The degree of purification of this part of the air is determined by the process conditions borne by the central air conditioning system. A typical air conditioning system is equipped with two levels of air filters, namely a primary air pre filter and a primary medium efficiency air filter, in order to effectively protect the indoor end high-efficiency filter.

(3) The humid heat treatment part of the air. Heating, humidifying, cooling, and dehumidifying the air, and combining the relevant treatment processes together, is called the air heat and humidity treatment part of the air conditioning system. In the process of heat and humidity treatment of air, there are surface air heat exchangers (those that use hot water or steam inside the surface heat exchanger are called surface air heaters, abbreviated as air steam heaters, and those that use low-temperature cold water or refrigerant inside the surface heat exchanger are called water-cooled surface coolers and direct evaporative surface coolers), as well as spray chambers that spray cold or hot water, There is also a method of directly spraying steam to achieve the heat and humidity treatment of the air.

(4) The conveying and distribution of air, as well as the control part. The fans, supply and return air ducts in the air conditioning system are called the air conveying part, while the regulating air valves, butterfly valves, fire valves, starting valves, and air outlets in the air ducts are called the air distribution and control part. Fans are the main source of noise in air conditioning systems. In order to ensure that the noise in air-conditioned rooms meets the required standards, silencers are often installed on the supply and return air ducts of the air conditioning system. Some air conditioning systems are equipped with a fan, which serves both as a supply and return air. This type of system is called a single fan system; Some air conditioning systems are equipped with two fans, one is a supply fan and the other is a return fan, which is called a dual fan system. The fans and ducts in air conditioning systems generally require insulation to prevent unnecessary energy consumption.

(5) The cold and heat sources of the air conditioning system. The cold and heat sources of air conditioning systems are generally divided into two types: natural and artificial.

The air conditioning system composed of the above components is called a centralized air conditioning system (also known as a full air system). This type of system is widely used in industry and is also a basic method. Its characteristic is that the air treatment equipment is concentrated in the air treatment room, and the cold and heat sources are mostly concentrated together. The processed air is sent to each air-conditioned room through air ducts, making the system easy to manage and maintain centrally.

If the above air handling equipment is combined with refrigeration units, fans, etc. to form a complete unit, it is called an air conditioning unit. The air conditioning system using air conditioning units is also known as a local air conditioning system, similar to purification equipment such as household split units. A semi centralized central air conditioning system is an air conditioning system that has a centralized fresh air processing unit and air duct, and also has local processing devices (called end devices, such as inductors, fan coil units, etc.) in each air-conditioned room.

The rapid development of air filters is closely related to the development of military and electronic industries. Air filters are used in various chemical agents, and military gas masks with asbestos fiber filter paper as the smoke filter layer have emerged. Glass fiber filter media is used for air filtration. We have conducted in-depth research on the production process of glass fiber filter paper, which has improved and developed air filters. The HEPA filter uses fine glass fiber filter paper as the filtering medium, with a high filtration efficiency of 99.9998% for particles with a diameter of 013 microns. With the emergence of new testing methods, the improvement of usage evaluation, and the increasing requirements for filtration performance, it has been found that HEPA filters have serious problems, leading to the emergence of ULPA filters with higher performance. Currently, countries are still making efforts to research and it is estimated that more advanced air filters will soon emerge.
