The painting workshop is equipped with different types of air filters in the initial, middle, and high-efficiency filtration sections of the supply and exhaust air conditioning, the dynamic and static pressure chambers of the paint spraying room, the ternary and quaternary drying furnaces, the circulating air ducts of the drying furnaces, and the forced cooling room air supply units.

1、 Air conditioning system

Multiple workstations in the painting production process, including the paint mixing room, have separate air conditioning systems:

1. Air conditioning supply system first stage (primary) filter:

It is divided into two levels: the first level is a nylon mesh or flat filter with filtration levels of G1 to G2, installed at the air conditioning suction port, specifically designed to block small insects, coarse gravel materials, etc. The second level is placed in front of the air conditioning unit fan and is mostly equipped with G3-G4 bag filters.

2. Air conditioning supply system second level (intermediate) filter:

Select non-woven hot melt F5-F6 bag filters. Mainly used to remove ≥ 10 μ The dust particles of m serve as a pre protection filter to extend the service life of the high-efficiency filter in the rear.

3. Spray booth dynamic and static pressure chamber

Select F7-F8 bag filters. This filter is the terminal filter in the air conditioning purification system, which functions to remove dust particles of ≥ 3um.

4. Spray booth filtration

The spray painted roof cotton uses filter cotton with a grade of F5. The general requirement for dust capacity is 500-600g/m2. The main function of this filtration is to achieve uniform gas flow, requiring the filtering material to have a deep gradient structure and a three-dimensional adhesive support structure.

5. Drying room combustion chamber

F6 level high-temperature fiberglass filter box filter needs to be installed before the inlet of the circulating fan.

6. Air outlet of drying room

F8 grade fiberglass felt plate filters need to be installed in each dispersed outlet of the drying channel. The drying and curing of paint is directly heated by the hot air in the drying room, and the hot air should be blown onto the painted parts or the entire vehicle to ensure cleanliness.

2、 Circulating air filtration system

The circulating air filtration system will send a portion of the exhaust air from the spray room back to the air conditioning system for filtration. In this filtration system, the top priority is to handle the paint mist filtration well. The most common circulating air filtration systems are: the first layer uses a paint mist filter, the second layer uses a medium efficiency filter F6, and the third layer uses a medium efficiency filter F7.
